Stamford Meeting Hall Update

The NSA Board of Directors and representatives from the Plymouth Brethren/Stamford Meeting Hall met this week to discuss the latest details for their plan to replace the former Long Ridge Swim & Tennis Club site at 2517 Long Ridge Road with a 10,000-square-foot church building. Here are some of those details they shared with us:

  • Includes seating for 500+ people and parking for 110 cars
  • Services are planned for Sundays (main service at 11:30AM and an additional service at 4:30PM), Wednesdays (7PM) with some Saturday services.
  • Typical attendance will include their 100 Stamford-area members for normal services and 150 for some larger services (holidays, etc.). Some occasional larger events may draw 200 – 350 people. They do expect to employ the service of Stamford police to conduct traffic for any larger events.
  • The building does not include any food service/kitchen area, no showers and no living quarters.
  • Construction is expected to begin this year, and be completed in mid/late 2027.

More information is available on the Stamford Meeting Hall website and questions can be directed to info@stamfordmeetinghall.com. A recap of the January 7th meeting with Long Ridge neighbors can also be found in the Advocate (paywall).
