Paper Shredding Event 

Saturday, May 4th
9AM – 12PM
Northeast School – 82 Scofieldtown Road

Shred Day, sponsored by the North Stamford Association, will be held Saturday, May 4th from 9am to noon at the Northeast Elementary School, 82 Scofieldtown Road.

This event is free to NSA members, and also free to those who live in 06903 and join or renew their membership to the North Stamford Association at the event. There is a $15 fee for non-members who use the shredder.

if you’re not already a member, this is a great opportunity to meet other members and to learn more about NSA’s mission to preserve and protect North Stamford!


Annual Meeting – Save the Date

The North Stamford Association annual meeting is tentatively scheduled for Sunday, May 19th. More details to follow in a separate email.


Arbor Earth Day

Arbor Earth Day is this weekend! Join us on Sunday, April 21st, from 11:00 – 3:00 pm. Join the Bartlett Education team for a day of learning, featuring local non-profits that work to protect the environment. Feature events include:

  • Bartlett Tree Experts and a seedling giveaway
  • Tree and Wetland Walks
  • EcoMagic with Cyril the Magician!

Book Signing & Talk

Sunday, June 2nd • 2PM
1508 High Ridge Road

The Stamford History Center will host a talk and book signing; Kim Harke’s ‘Italian American Recollections‘ and Anthony Socci’s ‘United We Stand‘ reveal the Italian history of Stamford, which had never been written on prior to these books. As such, these books are the first of their kind, and attendees have the opportunity to learn and ask question, as well as purchase autographed editions. Purchases can be made in advance from Alibris.com and on Amazon.

Spring on the Farm Family Fest Sundays

April 28th & May 5th • 10AM – 2PM

Join us for our annual Spring on the Farm Family Fest Sundays! Each Sunday we’ll open our site at 10 am with added attractions, enhanced programming, fun springtime offerings and free giveaways until 2 pm. We’ll have lots of fun activities for families and kids of all ages, including seasonal favorites and brand-new attractions!

Capacity is limited, so ensure your admission and save money by preregistering. Day-of online registration may not be available. Limited Walk-in tickets will be sold as capacity permits at both gates on Fest Days beginning at 10 am. Standard admission rates apply after 2pm.

Bestselling Authors Writing Workshop

Listen, learn and write in this workshop for aspiring writers led by authors Ann Leary, Wendy Walker and Greg Wands, who will share tips on writing fiction and nonfiction.
