3/24/17. Thank you for participating in the North Stamford Association’s Blizzard Response Survey. 104 members responded to our survey asking you to rank the city’s response to the March 14th blizzard. Respondent rankings were as follows:
Excellent – 58
Good – 41
Fair – 4
Poor 1
Comments from those rating the response as Excellent or Good included:
” Great response, no curb damage”
” Good call to postpone recycling collection”
” Roads cleaned very quickly”
” Response very quick with multiple plowing runs in my neighborhood”
” Plowing was done quickly with sand/salt reapplied several times”
Comments from those rating the response as Fair or Poor included:
” mailbox destroyed by plow”
” plow damaged stones at edge of my driveway”
” roads were not cleared until late at night”
The above survey results will be communicated to City of Stamford officials. The North Stamford Association reminds all members to utilize the Citizen Service Center Hotline at 203-977-4140 to report any issues of concern regarding City Services.
