Ahuja Application for Text Amendment to Allow Medical Clinics in Residential Neighborhoods Rejected

10/17/17. The Zoning Board met last night regarding the Ahuja Application for a text amendment to zoning rules to allow for medical clinics to be permitted in most residential neighborhoods. North Stamford Association representatives were in attendance. Tom Lombardo, Chair of the North Stamford Association’s Land Use Committee, read a statement from the North Stamford Association voicing our opposition to the text change. The zoning board’s final vote was 5 – 0, rejecting the text amendment. The North Stamford Association was pleased with this result indicating that the text change was inappropriate and would have impacted most of Stamford.
